i dont think the carb is the area to focus on..
I down jetted the oem carb for altitude and put
it on an exhaust gas analizer and it still runns
65 to 70% ..... way to rich.. it is overcarbarated
as it is as far as fuel feed.
exhaust needs something.. im not willing to spend
$200 for a stupid muffler just to gain 2-3hp. poked a
1" hole though my stock and took out the baffles. sound louder
and perform much better but still has the crisp lawn mower pop instead of the
nice rumble im looking for.
Gearing is my next step.. have called most belt and spocket manufacturers in the US
and am getting close to redoing the final drive ratio..... by repacing oem with all new
front and rear sprockets and belt. Checking with machine shops to mount it to the
rear hub. Give me another month on that...
